Gunja, a biogas plant built in 2019 is located on an area of 34,915 m2. Next to the installation there is an administrative building with 6 rooms: monitoring room, analysis room, meeting room, kitchen, sanitary facilities and shower bathroom. This space is heated with gas produced from cogeneration, and there are air conditioners in all necessary rooms.

Since the plant is located in Slavonia, which is traditionally related to agricultural activities, the immediate vicinity of the suppliers of raw materials with which the company has contracts is also an advantage, ensuring the purchase thereof. The installation (1 MW capacity) generates electricity up to a minimum network of 8 400 000 kW after internal use. Infrastructurally, it is ready for additional MW of power generation, and infrastructure has been set up to collect and place thermal energy from the generator's exhaust system. An advantage is the signed contract on the purchase of electricity produced with HROTE at the preferential feed-in tariff for 14 years. The plant will be fully operational in the third quarter of 2024 and is expected to achieve optimal production and efficiency in the first quarter of 2025. Starting from the first quarter of 2025, the power plant should operate at 99% of the efficiency of electricity generation. The biogas plant is projected to generate EUR 840 000 of revenues based on 8400 hours of operation per year and there is a potential for additional revenues from thermal energy and digestate of EUR 400 000 per year.

The plant owner sells 100% of its shares to an interested party who will continue to run the business.
