Culture

The cultural and historical sights in Vodice exude the romance and danger of medieval times. An example of this is the Ćorić Tower, probably the most interesting historical attraction in Vodice, built from Brač stone between the 15th and 17th centuries - located in the very center of the town. It represents the only preserved fortress that served to defend Vodice from the Ottomans. Church of St. Križ is the oldest church in Vodice, built in 1402, and as such a strong traditional cultural monument of the people of Vodice. Parish Church of St. Križ is the central church located in the very center of Vodice. It was built in the Baroque style, and is decorated with a tall bell tower. Two Wells symbolize sources of drinking water located in the walls of the city that were used to defend against the Turks. Today, the Two Wells are a tourist attraction where tourists often toss a coin, and make a wish. The aquarium and museum of maritime tradition is an ideal location for all the lovers of the underwater world. In the museum, you can view various ship models, old fishing tools and get to know numerous fish species that live in the nearby waters.

Gastronomy

Fortunately, there is still a small vegetable garden in front of every house here, and the market sells real, fragrant fruits and vegetables with natural colors and flavors. Whether you want to dine in one of the top restaurants and taverns in town or try home-made products from rural households and farms, the coastal gastronomy of the Šibenik-Knin County will delight you with its diversity and simplicity. An abundance of fresh and juicy seafood and premium olive oil, mild spices and herbs and delicious side dishes, excellent red wine such as the famous Babić from Primošten, mature sheep's cheese, Luganiga sausages, light dishes such as soparnik, gregada, lešada, brudet and lightly spiced seasonal grilled fish will fill your nostrils and excite your taste buds in an unforgettable gastronomic experience.

Sport and nature

Dive and explore the world of one of the most beautiful and well-preserved underwater areas in the world accompanied by certified diving instructors. Try your hand at fighting the biggest fish of the Adriatic at Big Game Fishing! Experience the true spirit of the sea and an adventure that will remain in your memory forever. If you are a lover of cycling, kilometers of organized and marked cycling paths are waiting for you! Tennis courts, football, handball, volleyball and bocce courts are also at your disposal. On the beach, you can have fun riding a jet-ski, tubes and boats, going down a water slide, or check out how Vodice looks from the air by flying with a parachute.
