Našice is one of the most significant medieval estates in today's Slavonia. Since ancient times, they have served as a link between the Požega basin and the Slavonian Podravina. The history of Našice is extremely interesting, but largely still insufficiently researched. Našice was owned by important medieval noble families, the Aba and Gorjanski families. They developed Našice and made it an important property, at least for the area of ​​today's Slavonia. Like many cities in Europe, the city of Našice was built along the river Našice, after which it got its name. Today, we can no longer call that river a river, because over time it became a stream, but in earlier times it had a much higher water level, which is why the city is being built next to it. In addition to the river, the city was built on the slopes of Mount Krndije, in an area rich in forests, and in addition to forests, it was also surrounded by fertile land. Today, Našice is a picturesque and hospitable, beautiful and tidy Slavonian town that will delight you with its charm.
