East Croatia, biogas power plant built in 2019, located on a land area of 34,915 m². Adjacent to the plant is an administrative building with six rooms: a control room, analysis room, meeting room, kitchen, restroom, and bathroom with a shower. The premises are heated by gas produced through cogeneration, and air conditioning units are installed in all necessary rooms. The domes are manufactured by Baur, the pumps by Wangen, the engine is Jambacher, the mixers are Strailsar, and the control unit is CTB.

Since the plant is located in Slavonia, a region traditionally associated with agricultural activities, one of its advantages is the immediate proximity of raw material suppliers with whom the company has signed contracts, ensuring a reliable supply. The plant, with a capacity of 1 MW, produces electrical energy for the grid of at least 8,400,000 kWh after internal consumption. It has currently logged 13,000 operating hours.

The infrastructure is already prepared for an additional 1 MW of power generation, and systems have been installed for the collection and distribution of thermal energy from the generator’s exhaust system. Another major advantage is the signed Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with HROTE, ensuring a preferential feed-in tariff valid for another 10 years. A gas pipeline exists in the area, allowing for the potential injection of gas into the grid. The facility is also equipped with a heat exchanger.

It is estimated that the plant can achieve €500,000 in net annual income.

The owner is selling 100% of the company shares to an interested party that will continue the operation.

The plant is currently not in operation due to a lack of feedstock (financing).
