Jasenak is a mountain village located south of Ogulin, in Karlovac County, on the slopes of Velika Kapela Mountain. Surrounded by dense forests, meadows and mountain peaks. Jasenak is known for its untouched nature and fresh mountain air. Nearby are the peaks of Bjelolasica (the highest mountain in Gorski Kotar) and Klek, which are popular among mountaineers. The area is part of a forested and karst landscape with numerous springs and mountain trails. There used to be a ski center on Bjelolasica nearby, which gave this area additional tourist importance, especially in winter. It is often visited by nature lovers, mountaineers and weekenders.
