The city of Pag has a long and rich past, as evidenced by numerous cultural and historical monuments and a rich cultural heritage that its residents cherish and preserve with pride and great love. In addition to the best cheese in the world, on Pag you can enjoy all the classic Dalmatian specialties such as young lamb, prosciutto, olives, wine, fresh fish, pasticada, risottos, brudetti, young Swiss chard, capers, almond cakes and aromatic Mediterranean liqueurs. Chefs of Pag restaurants are among the most sought-after and best-paid chefs in the world.

Sport and nature

Pag is different from most of the big Croatian islands. It is distinguished from them by its rich flysch deposits, mudflats and deep bays, and by the lunar surface of the side of the island facing Velebit and the storm. The Adriatic Sea, which surrounds the island of Pag like a shell, allows it to shine like a real pearl. With its incredible beaches and the cleanest sea in the world, it will easily convince you that you are in paradise on earth. Pag is an island that you will never want to leave.
